Community

Appreciating how the Performing Arts can improve the quality of life in society we are especially interested in projects that specifically serve the educative sector of the community.

The Roundhouse, Camden. Our brief was to create a seating system that could be demounted and put up in two days; one that works in the round and in end stage format and can take stage sizes from 10x10m thrust to 11.4m circular. One that maximised the seat count to 1700 and audience to 1800, when taken out to the outer walls on the first balcony structure – and all on a very tight budget.

Performing Arts Theatre for Guernsey College of Further Education - 2006
Multi-purpose hall and associated teaching spaces containing an end stage theatre space with moveable proscenium and an orchestra pit, bleacher seating encircled by two tiers.

2 St James, Gerrards Cross
The main meeting room meets the brief of supplying two directions of view for 200-300 people. Simple to operate performance lighting rig integrated with roof structure; stage either centred on long or short side of the main meeting room. Adjustable staging in either location and simple chair arrangements to suit.
